Milan Fashion Week: Marni


For me, without any doubt, Consuelo Castiglioni's Fall collection for Marni was the best of  the Milan Fashion Week. It seems quite impossible to do better than the Spring 13 collection yet Castiglioni has managed to bit her own best. 
Romance and masculinity, softness and edginess interlace in one in Castiglioni's collection. Boyish A-line dresses were shown along with feminine fur collars reminding the elegance of the 40-ies. Military green jackets shared the runway with chic pin-waist coats. Masculine tweeds and flannels were combined with softest furs and silks. 
This is the magic world of one of a kind Marni girl.  
Для меня коллекция Consuelo Castiglioni для модного дома Marni была несомненно апогеем недели моды в Милане. Сложно представить, что возможно создать коллекцию лучше, чем весенняя коллекция Marni. Одна Castiglioni удалось превзойти саму себя.
Романтика и мужественность, мягкость и надрыв неразрывно переплетаются в творениях дизайнера. Задорные платья формы А были показаны вместе с женственными меховыми боа, транслирующими элегантность далеких 40-х. Военные зеленые куртки разделили подиум с классическими приталенными пальто. Мужской твид и фланель были соединены с нежнейшим шёлком и мягчайшим мехом.
Это волшебный мир единственной и неповторимой девушки Marni.

  6. I am also a massive Marni fan, their shapes and silhouettes are always interesting and something different. I did like the fur elements in these sophisticated outfit (just hoping its faux) but how amazing is that fully fur caramel dress!

  11. Marni is not quite my scene, even on photos. it just tends to be slightly too masculine for my liking but let me tell you the last row, that photo in the middle is definitely something nice! I love those brownish shades, fur and leather. brown leather can be so awesome!
